Signage for Boundary Park Pavilion

Rachel Barbaresi was commissioned to design signage for the new Boundary Park sports pavilion. This is an important social space at Great Western Park, well used for events and community workshops as well as hosting Didcot’s rugby club and cricket teams.

Donlin’s glass work in the pavilion depicts rugby players and also refers to the industrial history of Didcot’s power station. Barbaresi used the signage to continue Donlin’s use of figures, working with groups of female runners and a group of cricketers to reflect other users of the pavilion.
